Member verification · Free, typically reviewed in 24-48 hours

Get verified.

Verification is the price of admission to the inner network. It unlocks anonymous posting, anonymous blasts, and access to deals other verified members are quietly working. Submit your documents once — we review them, you get a permanent verified mark, and the rest of the platform opens up.

Encrypted in transit and at rest. Documents are reviewed by a human, used only for verification, and deleted after review unless legally required.

What verification unlocks.

Post anonymously

Place wants on the Board without revealing your firm. Critical for 1031 buyers, family offices, and off-market sellers who would otherwise be carpet-bombed by brokers.

Send anonymous blasts

Run off-market teasers and sensitive capital raises without exposing your name. Replies route through BLACKBOOK CRE; you reveal yourself when you're ready.

See anonymous posts

Anonymous wants on the Board are visible in full only to other verified members. Unverified visitors see the category but not the criteria.

The verified mark

Every public post and blast you send carries the verified badge. Recipients know they're dealing with a vetted principal or broker, not a tire-kicker.

Your documents are private. We encrypt them at upload, store them in a separate review system, and delete them after verification is complete — unless we're legally required to retain (e.g., AML/KYC for identity docs, which we keep for 5 years per regulation). We never share documents with other members or use them for anything except verification.

Your application is in the queue. We'll email you at the address you provided when verification is complete — typically within 24 to 48 hours.

If we need anything additional from you, we'll reach out by email. You can use the platform in the meantime — verification-gated features (anonymous posting and blasting) will unlock automatically once you're approved.

A few questions you might have.

How long does it actually take?

Most applications are reviewed within 24 to 48 hours. Brokers with active licenses we can verify against state databases usually get approved faster. Sponsors and principals with complex entity structures sometimes take longer. We'll email you with status updates.

Why do you need my government ID?

Two reasons. First, we need to know the person on the other side of the screen matches who they claim to be — otherwise verification means nothing. Second, AML/KYC regulations require it for any platform facilitating capital introductions. We don't share it, sell it, or use it for anything else.

What if I get declined?

We'll email you with a reason and, if applicable, what would change the outcome. Common reasons: documents weren't legible, license was inactive, entity couldn't be verified. You can resubmit after fixing the issue. Outright denials are rare and limited to clear cases of misrepresentation or sanctions exposure.

Does verification cost anything?

No. Verification is free — always. We charge for blasts and subscriptions, not for getting through the door. The cost to us is reviewer time, which we eat because verified users are far more valuable to the network than unverified ones.

What if my role changes later?

Email us. We'll update your verification status to reflect the new role, which may require new documents. Your verified mark persists as long as you stay in good standing.

Who actually reviews the documents?

A small in-house verification team. No third-party outsourcing of decisions. We use automated tools (Persona, license-lookup APIs) to flag and pre-check applications, but final yes/no is always human.
